Starting TODAY for 100 days ~ culminating February 14th, 2017 ~ I’m journaling again about what brings me joy.
I’m going to write down all the little things, like waking up in my own bed after traveling to splurging on my favorite tea. I’m going to write down all the big things, like connecting with my son via FaceTime while he’s in China, loving more deeply, laughing with my mom and sister as my dad shakes his booty like we’ve never seen before!
In my blog post, 100 DAYS OF JOY! posted June 8th, I wrote:
“This world needs all the joy it can get. We each need all the joy we can find ~ and part of that is recognizing the joy we already have. Intention, focus, gratitude…. The beauty?
JOY GROWS MORE JOY.
You know what I mean. When you see someone smile, you smile. When you hear someone laugh, a spark of joy ignites within you. Just like kindness, joy spreads.
So, I challenge myself, and I challenge you ~ be the pebble of joy in the still pond and allow the ripples of joy to expand beyond your being into the world.”
So? Are you up for the newest challenge of Journaling for More Joyand setting your intention to not only focus on joy, but to search it out, and to be joy’s beacon?
There is no catch.
You can’t lose.
Focusing on joy only heals!
Know there is no “right” or “wrong” way to do this. Use a notepad or buy a special journal and colored pens. It’s up to you.
All it takes is two minutes at any point of the day to write down what has sparked joy in you.I jot down a quick list and then re-read my list so it sinks in even more.
Please let me know in the comments section if you’re going to join me.We can all share what brings us joy.
