A Red Lipstick Fall of Wonders, continued….
As October starts to feel more and more like Fall, even with the 90+* weather, I am filled with more and more wonder of the world around me and the world within me.
Here are some more of my musings. I hope you feel inspired to share some of your own!
*
Trusting that now is not the time, and giving myself permission to say, ‘no’
Permission to say, ‘yes’ to more, to the plenty, to the bountiful and to the beautiful
To repurposing my purpose
To reviewing things I’ve set aside that want to be dusted off so they’re shiny again
Loving that heart rocks keep showing up as gifts
That I keep seeing them and being grateful for them and what they remind me of – I am loved, I am seen, and what I focus on does indeed grow
Long walks on the beach alone are my new favorite old thing
Writing wherever is a new and treasured delight
Podcasts and learning new-old things
Reading my son’s work out loud
Reading my own work out loud – and hearing the beauty and power in both
Swimming – whether its an easy glide or 45 minutes of just keep going
Not waiting
Repledging myself to being bold and bodacious and soft and quiet and everything in between without judgement or prejudice
Writing more and more and more in all my genres
Accepting that I am a multi-creationist and am not just one thing
Loving with all my heart my sweet, sweet man, and sweet, sweet boy
Wearing gold rings and feeling like the rich, wealthy woman I am.

I’d love to hear about any insights you’ve had with wearing red lipstick or doing something new and different or old-but-new-again….
As always,
In love ad in joy,
Shannon
